In the Sparks team we define ourselves as associates in the field of child development and human resources. We have come together to focus our passion and experience, utilising specialised skill-sets.
We have a long held belief that, ‘need (desire) outweighs any obstacle‘. As with our own lives, our children often have more of an internal drive, a need to ‘manage’ a situation, one way or another. We offer ‘socially acceptable’ strategies and ongoing support to assist in overcoming some of these life stage obstacles. We know they can do it and we are here to help. Our research highlight gaps in many services provided. We concur with results that state skills, knowledge and understanding of people with disabilities is still lacking in many areas. We feel these are essential in fully supporting the building of independence in our clients and their communities.
Sparks aim is to provide for holistic, individualised programs of support and training. We are very passionate about providing the support to the skill training for potentially more independent and productive, individuals, families and communities. We also endeavour to provide valuable network connections that best suit the passion and ideals in building success for each individuals purpose.
* We facilitate the development and delivery of applied real-life strategies to support greater independence.
* We use ‘common sense and ‘out of the box’ transition approaches.
* We encourage community integration and provide support for each individuals transition and needs.
Identified by research, are other groups of people in society that may be similarly handicapped in some way by social, emotional, educational and or environmental disadvantage. These groups often look to be helped with the use of some of our programs. We use services and programs that are sometimes ‘out of the box’ in order to create plausible opportunities of support. This often benefits more communities when implementing these programs and this provides a mutual benefit to all.
